Kyc Policies
Scope and purpose
Bizbet's Know Your Customer (KYC) Policy governs identity verification, anti-money-laundering (AML) controls, and related data processing to enable compliant betting operations, secure account management, and risk mitigation. The policy applies to all customers registering for or using Bizbet services.
Eligibility and age
You may register and use Bizbet services only if you are at least 18 years old, or the applicable minimum gambling age in your jurisdiction if higher. By registering, you declare you meet the age requirement and that you have lawful ownership of funds used for all transactions.
Verification triggers and process
Identity and risk verification is performed at onboarding and during ongoing activity. Verification may be triggered in the following circumstances: at registration; when required by regulators or by internal risk controls; or when suspicious activity is detected. You may be asked to provide documentation to confirm identity, address, and source of funds. If verification cannot be completed, Bizbet may suspend or terminate access to Services in accordance with this policy.
- Identity documentation: clear, readable copies or photographs of a government-issued document (passport, national ID, or driving license) showing full name and date of birth. Scanned copies are not accepted; photos or digital captures with legible detail are required.
- Proof of address: recent utility bill, bank statement, or government correspondence showing your name and current address; issued within the last two months; data must correspond to Bizbet account details.
- Proof of payment: as applicable to the deposit method used, a document that demonstrates ownership of the payment instrument (for example, cardholder name and last four digits). The document must clearly identify the customer.
- Additional verification: Bizbet may require extra documents or information, including source of funds documentation (e.g., payslips, bank statements) or selfies with identified documents, to complete identity checks.
Source of funds and financial risk assessment
To confirm the legitimacy of funds used for bets or deposits, Bizbet may request information about the source of funds or wealth. A risk-based assessment will be applied, and documentation may be required before approving transactions or lifting withdrawal holds.
Thresholds and withdrawal restrictions during checks
During verification, Bizbet may temporarily restrict withdrawals from your account. Where verification is in progress, deposits may still be accepted, but withdrawal functionality may be limited until checks are completed. You will receive timely instructions on any required steps and reasonable timeframes for resolution.
Prohibited jurisdictions
Bizbet does not offer services to residents located in jurisdictions where online gambling is prohibited or heavily restricted. We may apply enhanced due diligence or deny service to individuals in high-risk locations. Access from restricted jurisdictions may be blocked without prior notice.
Enhanced due diligence and Politically Exposed Persons
In risk scenarios, Bizbet applies proportionate enhanced due diligence, including additional documentation and ongoing monitoring. Customers identified as Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) or their close associates/family members may be subject to heightened scrutiny and longer verification periods.
Anonymous and duplicate accounts
Anonymous accounts or accounts registered under non-identifying details are not permitted. Bizbet will identify linked or multiple accounts and may cancel additional accounts, invalidate winnings, or return deposits as required by law and policy.
Data retention, privacy, and rights
Bizbet processes personal data in accordance with applicable privacy laws. Personal data collected for KYC purposes will be retained for eight (8) years following the end of the customer relationship or last activity. Data subjects may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data under the company’s privacy rights process after reviewing the privacy notice. Consent to processing may be withdrawn where permissible, but withdrawal may limit or terminate access to Bizbet Services.
Data sharing and third parties
Bizbet may share relevant personal data with regulatory authorities, payment providers, and trusted service providers to verify identity and prevent fraud. Recipients must maintain adequate data protection standards consistent with this policy and applicable law.
Account termination and dispute handling
If information provided by a customer is false, misleading, or incomplete, Bizbet may suspend or terminate the account and refuse Services, or reverse transactions in accordance with applicable law and these policies. All KYC decisions are conducted by Bizbet’s compliance team and are final.
Support and contact
For questions about KYC requirements or to exercise data rights, contact Bizbet support via the in-site Help Center or the compliance channel designated in our privacy notice. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and provide clear next steps.
